4D3N Ipoh Penang Trip Part 2

Well, we are finally on our way to Penang.
On the Penang 2nd Bridge, first time using this bridge and it is just as awesome.
We decided to check into our 'condotel' in Summerton Condo, which is just a bout 10 min walk from the big Queensbay Mall.

Huge living hall

Equipped kitchen

Well a bit view of seaview
It is a 3 bedroom condo on the 12th floor, super spacious, basement parking lot. There are eateries on the ground floor. A short drive to Queensbay Mall or just 10min drive to the nearby Super Tanker Food Center.
So dinner was naturally at  Super Tanker. As we were tired with all the car rides, so early nightcap.

Next day we went for an early lunch.

Inside the shop
This is the famous Pitt Street Koay Teow Th’ng (椰腳粿條湯), as you can see we needed to wait for a table, FULL house. But it was worth the wait, as the noodle soup was good.

Sorry my phone camera bit blur but trust me, it is good.
Anyway while waiting for our Kuey Teow Teng, my dad ordered the famous char kuey teow from next door.

It may not look good but it was.

After filling up our tummy, off we went to explore a bit of Penang and the nearesr is the Kuan Yin Temple 观音亭 at  Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling

See how old the building is,
Well after this temple, dad took us to another one bit further away. The Snake Temple at Bayan Lepas
Apparently the snakes came on their own to this temple many years ago.

I guess because it is a bit far from the town that you do not get a lot of tourists here. Quite a quiet temple.

On the tree
There are mainly these type of green snakes but all quietly napping on the branches.

Well, that's all I have to say about our Ipoh Penang trip. Being my first travel blog, please mind my mistakes. Will try and do better.
See ya.
